Bridget Marie Kirby was a Ferris Saxon Speech and Debater - and leader - who loved her team and the overall experience. Perhaps the greatest way Bridget kept everyone inspired was through her fun-loving nature, which was always present, but especially easy to observe when she was on travel trips and retreats. She helped fundraise each year to make trips more affordable for all and developed an esprit de corps that was unmatched. 
 
In Bridget’s memory, her parents, Pat and Maureen Kirby, have set up a scholarship fund to aid Speech and Debate students who embody Bridget's passion and drive. The goal of the funds is to make sure that all students have the opportunity to be infused with the energy that comes from fun, positive experiences in the Speech and Debate world.
